Karen Hollingsworth Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Hollingsworth of Mediapolis, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Hollingsworth to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gay Wright and Mildred Wright (Springsteen); her husband Ron; her sister Phyllis (Warren Stineman); her niece Shannon Stineman; and her in-laws, J. K. "Holly", Marcella Hollingsworth, Shirley, Vaughn McCants, Don and Joyce Hollingsworth.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Joyce; her children, Christy, Kim Robb, Randy, Joni Hollingsworth, Rhonda and Kory Klenk; her grandchildren, Levi (Maddie), Caleb (Paige), Noah Robb (Gabby), Tanner (Cassie), Maddie (Casey), Samuel (Hope), Joseph Hollingsworth, Chase (Stephanie), Bryana (Marcus Walton) and Bryce Klenk (Emma); her siblings, Ruth (James Oetken) and Ed Wright (Jody); and her niece Cindy (Ken Miller). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins, and many good and faithful friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Mediapolis Global Methodist Church and Kossuth Cemetery Association.
