He was predeceased by : his parents, James Palmer and Flossie Palmer (Wells); and his granddaughter Kelli. He is survived by : his children, Cheryl DeFosse (Jeff) of Mediapolis, Brenda Hooten (Ken) of Keller, TX, Sharron Halbrook (Glenn) of Farmington and Marvin Palmer (Tori) of Washington. He is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
