He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Chris Zahnd and Martha Zahnd (Luthi); his children, Debra Zahnd-Creason of Waterloo, Charles Zahnd of Madison, WI, Kenneth Zahnd (Penny) of Marshalltown and Donald Zahnd of State Center; his grandchildren, Kevin Zahnd, Brandi Creason-Azbill (Ethan), Robert E. Zahnd (Lori), Christian Zahnd, Amanda Zahnd, Shelby Zahnd, Chelsy Zahnd, Emma Zahnd, Megan Zahnd (Haley), Savannah Zahnd, Josliyn Zahnd and Lilian Zahnd; his siblings, Richard Zahnd (Marilee) of Moravia, Darlene Buck of Fort Dodge, Margaret Gelhaus, Doris Pfantz and John Zahnd; his grandson Daniel Zahnd; and his great grandchild Ethan Zahnd. He was also cherished by 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The family of Robert Zahnd has graciously postponed all funeral services for Robert at this time to ensure the safety of the public and their family during this COVID pandemic.
