We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 70, Dale Harlan Van Dyke of Doon, Iowa, born in Sanborn, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Dyke and Minnie Van Dyke; his brother Jimmy Van Dyke; and his grandson Eli. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Meendering (Brad) of Hartley, Shannon Mackey (Devon) of Virginia, April Van Whye of Sanborn, Jeremy Van Dyke (Thisbe) of Doon, Ashley Brummel (Darrin) of Boyden and Larissa Van Dyke of Melvin, Iowa; his grandchildren, Blake, Brody, Bryce, Brady, Aidan, Ashlyn, Liam, Caedmon, Makayla, Chris, Cassidy, Madi, Taysom, Braleigh, Bentley, Raeya, Adalyn, Maddox, Beckett, Annie, Bellamy and Boden; his great grandchildren, Kora, Kayden, Micah and Myles; and his sister Jolene Peplau of Hawaii. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornerstone United Reformed Church (805 Sunrise Ave, Sanborn, IA 51248). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roseland Cemetery (5621 320th St, Sanborn, IA 51248).
