He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Griese and Helen Griese (Frey); his brother Carl "Ronnie" Griese; his son-in-law Rick Duhn; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Slykhuis.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Esther Jacobsen; his daughters, Debra Mouw of Milford, IA, Teresa Duhn of Spirit Lake, IA and Janine Marco (Damon) of Worthington, MN; and his sister Margaret Ann Slykhuis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
