He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruiter and Martha G. Ruiter (Wolters). He is survived by: his wife Alice Folkedahl; his children, Karla Ruiter of Bettendorf and Kyle Ruiter (Connie) of Goldfield; his grandchildren, Kyle Jr. (Kylie Jones) of Arizona, Abigail McBurney (Josh) of Humboldt and Colby (Brook) of Dubuque; and his pets, Graycie Mae and Pebbles Marie.
