He was predeceased by: his parent Annemarie Volkers; and his siblings, Henning Volkers and Eva Marie Dallmayer. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Rohwedder; and his children, Hans Val Volkers of Dubuque, IA and Lori Volkers of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
