He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Crane and Rebecca Crane (Henderson); his wife Lois Crane; his son-in-law John Shoup; and his siblings, Bill Crane, Lucille Hamrick, Marian Carey and Carl Crane.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Crane (Tina) of Milton, WI, Sue Shoup of Le Mars, IA, Eileen Thorn (Todd) of Spirit Lake, IA and Tom (Trina Rudy) of Vancouver, WA; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Chloe Crane and Linden Shoup (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Des and Maise Shoup.
