She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Peterson and Josephine Peterson (Sandbothe); her former life partners, Mike A. Rau and William Hoss; her children, Lois Thomas (Mike), Cynthia Wright and Patrick Rau (Victoria); and her siblings, Joe Peterson and Velma Wagner.
She is survived by : her husband Carl Michael of Missouri Valley; her children, Mick Rau (Joan) of Council Bluffs, Audrey Evans (Terry) of Branson, Rebecca Vega (Robert) of Columbia, Edward Rau (Karen) of Gilbert, Matthew Rau (Mona) of Sahuarita, Tim Rau (Tammy) of Council Bluffs and Lori McWilliams (Danny) of Pisgah, Iowa; her stepdaughter Rochelle Straight (Duane) of Modale, Iowa; and her siblings, Helen Hanson (Chuck) of Moorhead, Donnie Peterson (Glenda) of Spencer, Elaine Wageman, Ron Blume of Apple Valley, Darlene Havick of Humboldt, Alvin Peterson of Council Bluffs, Kenny Peterson (Corinne) of Council Bluffs, Ron Skalla, Leah Davis of Harlan, Terry Peterson (Tomi) of Spencer and Debbie Jenson (Mark) of Livermore, Iowa. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
