It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Enrique Cohen (Missouri Valley, Iowa), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Enrique Cohen; and also, Alvin and Dorothy Pitt. He is survived by: his mother Olga Bello of Omaha; his wife Debbie of Missouri Valley; his sons, Caleb Cohen of Wayne and Benjamin Cohen (Paige) of Logan, Iowa; his siblings, Claudio Cohen of Santo Domingo, Madelaine (Bill Adler) of Omaha and Frederico Cohen of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Pitt (Terri) of Northboro, Roger Pitt (Margaret) of Missouri Valley and Jon Pitt (Michelle) of Missouri Valley. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (215 N 7th St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555). A prayer was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
