He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Benton and Shirley Benton (Knight); his son Rickie Benton; his siblings, Danny and Teri; and his friends, Lydia and Billy.
He is survived by: his children, Rickey Peppers, Jessica Sugar (Allen), Melody Benton and Christina Husted; his grandchildren, Cody, Katlynn, Hailie, Addie, Kaiden and Eva; his siblings, Richard Benton, Kathy Ameigh, Marti Schut (Tamara) and Shari Schut (Gloria); and his friend Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
