He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Dettmann and Selma Dettmann (Kregel); his former life partner Orlene Baries; his wife Joyce Miller (Radloff); his sisters, Jean Collins (Eugene) and Joyce Collins (Carlton); and his stepdaughters, Gloria Zittergruen and Judy Kupcis.
He is survived by : his son Dennis Dettmann (Pauline); his stepchildren, Connie Olney (Dave), Sheryl Miller and Allen Miller (Chris); his grandchildren, Derek Dettmann, Stacy Dettmann (Eric Haunfelder), Joe Olney, Steve Olney (Carly), Justin Miller (Sara) and Kathleen Williams (Jack); and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Kinnick, Kinsley Olney, Dillon, Kayla and Mia Miller.
