The memory of Nettie Freeborn of Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Williamson and Lila Williamson (Harbison); her husband Everett "Junior" Freeborn; her brother Raymond Williamson; and her daughter-in-law Gina Freeborn.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Van Dee of Deep River, Jim Freeborn (Julie) of Montezuma and Bill Freeborn (Jana) of New Sharon; her grandchildren, Sarah McCue (Brandon), Wyatt Van Dee (Jamie), Kyle Freeborn (Haley), Kayla Hayes (Bobby), Katie Leitzinger (Bryan), Beau Freeborn (Olivia) and Rachel Wiedner (Dylan); and her siblings, Jim Williamson (Norma) of Montezuma and Jo Ann.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
