She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Samuels and Minnie Samuels (Cary); her stepdaughter Carol Ann; and her husband Donald Small. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Sandra Kay, Steven Vern and Melinda Lee; her brother Burton Samuels (Jackie); her daughter Andrea Goff (Brandon); her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer, Tanner and Emily; her children, Tara Smith (Jeremy), Grant Small (Rebecca) and Shannon Stendel (Tom); her grandchildren, Kayla Smith, Karch Smith, Lillian Small, Alaina Small, Garrett Small, Madeline Stendel and Hailey Stendel; her children, Ryan England (Sierra) and Brett England (Samantha); and her grandchildren, Tucker England, Sawyer England, Rex England and Opal England. She is also survived by 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to honor Edna can be given to the United Methodist Church in Mt. Ayr, the Order of Eastern Star in Mt. Ayr, or the Mt. Ayr Public Library.
