It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Swank (Mount Ayr, Iowa), born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his stepdaughter Hilary Ann Swank (Philip Schneider) of Telluride, Colorado.; his son Daniel Swank (Larissa); his grandchildren, Zackery Hammond (Alayna), Amanda Johnson (Edward), Brandon Swank (Eleni), Elaine Bean of North Bend, Washington and Harper Swank of Edmonds, Washington.; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Kincaid Hammond and Edward Johnson (Teddy); his siblings, Shirley Hightshoe (David) of Mount Ayr, Iowa and Kenneth Swank (Jeanne); and his former life partner Judy Swank (Mark Redick) of Playa. He is also survived by friends, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
