He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hooker (Alice C.) and Stella Holmes; his wife Alice J. Hooker of Muscatine; his children, Bryan Wheeler of Muscatine and Tina Djumaev (Hooker) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Monica Carter (Hooker), Courtney Beesley, Summer Wheeler and Bryan Wheeler Jr.; his great grandchildren, Landen Canarr, Leeland Canarr and Lunden Beesley; and his siblings, Patricia Norris (Hooker) of Benton, Wanda Hooker of Rock Island, Catherine, Cheryl Hooker, Sharon Vargus (James), Lawanda Ramey (Jerry), Mary Harvey (Hooker), James Ray, John, Donald Hooker, Ralph Todd, James Yates and Joyce Yates. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
