He was predeceased by: his father Albert 'Richard Hooker; and his grandparents, James, Alice Hooker, Stella Holmes, Chester and Marie Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Wheeler Jr. of Muscatine and Summer Wheeler of Washington, Iowa; his mother Alice J. Hooker (Wheeler) of Muscatine; his sister Tina Djumaev (Hooker) of Muscatine; his nieces, Monica Carter (Daniel) and Courtney Beesley (Ron Bankson); and his great-nephews, Landen Canarr, Leeland Canarr and Lunden Beesley.
