He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Geertz and Carolyn Geertz (Holdeman); his former spouses, Connie Noble and Robin Lawson; his wife Janet Orr; his children, Tyson Geertz (Carie) of North Carolina, Nicole Miller (Kyle) of Burleson, Morgan and Katie of Muscatine; his siblings, Carl Geertz (Melanie) of New Boston, Cyle Geertz (Lee) of Nichols and Crystal 'Jojo' Millage (Bill) of Keithsburg; his brother-in-law Darrell Fisher of Keithsburg; his grandchildren, Daniel (Maddie), Laura, Rebecca, McKenna and Britley; his sisters, Cindy Fisher and Linda Marie Johnson; and his nephew Cody Geertz. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, foster siblings, and treasured friends.
