He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Toyne and Edna Bell Martz Toyne; and his siblings, Vernon and Esther. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Toyne; his sons, Jeff Toyne, Randy Toyne (Lori) and Eric Toyne (Melissa); his grandchildren, Corrine Shay (Justin), Chad Toyne (Alexis Strause), Jon Toyne (Megan) and Erika Fangman (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Aidan Shay, Madi Shay, Emme Shay, Garrett Richardson, Wyatt Richardson, Noah Toyne and Irelynn Toyne.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Muscatine.
