He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lange and Patricia Babbitt Lange. He is survived by: his wife Janice Marty of Muscatine; his sons, Jeff Lange (Sharon) of Carmel and Nathan Lange (Suzanne) of Petaluma, California; and his sister Paulette Chapman of Muscatine.

Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
