Edyth Wooten Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2019, at the age of 85, Edyth Wooten (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Battle Creek, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Foster and Lois Foster; and her brother William Foster. She is survived by: her husband Dean Wooten of Lutheran Living; her sons, Tim Wooten of Tulsa, OK and Ben Wooten of Sterling, CO; her grandchildren, Heather Wooten of Collegedale, TN and Brock Wooten of Greeley, CO; her daughter Christy (Robert Decker) of Chesnee, SC; her grandchildren, Nick Decker of Collegedale, TN, Jessica Decker of Chesnee, SC and Thomas Decker of Chesnee, SC.; her siblings, Mary Jenson of Battle Creek, IA, Charles "Chuck" Foster (Dorothy) of Townsend, DE, Merlie Kalsem (Jim) of Ames, IA, James "Jim" Foster (Helen) of Knoxville, IA and Carol Biegler (Rolly) of Pendleton, OR; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Wooten of Muscatine, IA and Melody Waltemeyer (Randy) of Marshalltown, IA. She is also survived by three children, and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the National Alzheimer's Association or to Hospice Compassus in Edyth's name.
