He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Waring (Petrovics); his wife Jill DeVore (Buckley); his children, Jeremy DeVore of Ames, Adam DeVore (Katelyn) of Muscatine and Emily DeVore of Muscatine; his grandson Samuel DeVore; his father Max Waring; his sister Sandra Kay Hoag (Doug) of Muscatine; and his close friend Little Dave Dotson of California.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Eric's name.
