She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Dimas and Maria Dimas; her brothers-in-law, Jose Balboa and Simon Blancas; and her niece Rosario Blancas (late Manuel Martinez).
She is survived by: her children, Eugenia Cooley (James) of Muscatine, Genaro Ruiz of San Antonio, Raquel Ruiz of Davenport and Stefani Dimas (Colin) of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Cynthia Rivera (Elder) and Estevan Rocha; her great grandchildren, Breanna, Alessa and Elder Rivera; and her siblings, Raquel Balboa, Gloria Blancas and Jesus Dimas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (310 S Calhoun St, West Liberty, IA 52776). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lutheran Living (2421 Lutheran Dr, Muscatine, IA 52761).
