She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron V. Massey and Martha Rutka Massey; her spouse Marion Nowysz; and her sister Marilyn Drake. She is survived by: her children, Jean Boche (Gary) of Bettendorf and Dr. Stephanie Nowysz-Ward (Mike) of Iowa City; her stepson Bill Nowysz of Iowa City; her granddaughters, Tiphanie Cannon, Alyssa Cabrera (Pablo), Holly Fisk (Brad), Melissa Fontanini (Blake) and McKenzie Ward; her great grandchildren, Leo, Jack, Daisy, Fritz, Frankie, Colten, Ava, Bianca, Lidia, Ethan, Savannah, Emma and Max; her nephew Craig Drake; and her niece Pam Houseman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran, or Muscatine Humane Society, or Salvation Army.
