He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carroll Edward and Mary Louise Johnson (Crown); his siblings, Mary Lou Kimball (Charlie) of Fairbank, Anna Bernetta White (Bob) of Burlington and John James Johnson (Terry) of Oklahoma City; his foster parents, John Yeater and Carolyn Yeater of Muscatine; and his siblings, John Jr. Yeater (Angie) of Mackinaw, Dannie Lee, Linda Johnson and Kaye Conaway.
