With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Ryan (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Johnson Jr. and Helen Lucille Gray Solomon; her son James M. Ryan; and her sister Sharon Elaine Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Julie K. Ryan of Dubuque, Shawn P. Ryan of Washington and Steven F. Ryan of Winfield; her grandchildren, Ryan O'Toole of Tirana, Albania, Erin Ryan, Eric Ryan of Washington, Samantha Carroll (Micah) of Columbus City, Ali Salow (Kyle) of Iowa City and Travis Ryan (Abriana) of Columbus Junction; and her siblings, Lyle Johnson of Wilton, Robert W. Johnson III of Edina, Missouri and Peggy Griffith of Crawfordville. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
