With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Daniel Larue (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on May 25, 2019 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Billingsly; his daughter Chassity LaRue; his stepparents, Ellis Billingsly and Fran LaRue; his brother-in-law Bill "Booper" Paetz; and his pet Otis.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Avis; his daughter Jayme Solomon (Ryan) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Kendra Bueno, Elise and Nolen Solomon; his pets, Dude, Luna and Tesla; his father Donald LaRue, Sr. of Burlington; and his siblings, Debra Frye of Muscatine, Donald LaRue, Jr (Kay) of Muscatine, Michelle (Chuck Aldridge) of New Boston and Kay Paetz (Raymond Smith) of Muscatine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Jay's name.
