She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter 'Pete' Ballenger and Inez Boom Paetz; her stepfather Reinhart Paetz; her siblings, Daryl and Frances Carter; her stepbrother Jerry Paetz; and her nephew Dean Ballenger.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Ball of Muscatine; her children, Patricia Henson (Michael) of St. Charles, Susan McCleary (Bob) of Muscatine, Debra Ball of Durant, Rebecca Ernst (John II) of Muscatine and James Ball of Muscatine; her brother Ronald Ballenger (Marilyn) of Moscow; her siblings-in-law, Darlene Ballenger of Bennett and Michael Carter of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Erin Henson Schepis, Kayla Henson Ross, Derek Martz (Jamie), Darrin Martz (Heather), Benjamin, Brittany Jepson, John III, Joseph Ernst and Her; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Madison Schepis, Alexis Sanchez, Krystol and Dakotah Martz.
