He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rada and Letha Bergen Rada; his son Jerry Lee; and his siblings, Lyle, Bob, Walter, Mary and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Estabrook; his children, Steve Rada (Cindy) of Muscatine, Paulette Johnson (Harold) of Muscatine and Sharon McLellan (James Aaron) of Unicoi, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Bart Johnson, Jodie Johnson, Chris Rada, Cara Rada, Daniel McLellan and Julie Kanipe; and his siblings, Larry Rada of North Carolina and Delores McKenzie of Cedar Rapids.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 27 or the V.F.W. Post 1565.
