She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lattin and Doris Lattin (Shroeder); her husband Virgil Shouse; her children, Charles, Virgil Jr. Shouse and Jeanie Carpenter; and her siblings, William, Raymond, John, Howard Lattin, Doris Miller, Joan Waldrop, Vivian Ulmer and Audrey Hanks.
She is survived by: her son Randy Shouse (Karen) of Muscatine. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren and many extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Mavis.
