He was predeceased by: his mother Miriam Peraza Ramírez; and his great-grandparents, Mario Ramírez Vega (Pai) and Rosaio Parrilla Ramírez (Mai). He is survived by: his son Joseph Colón (Lori Moore); his daughter-in-law Samantha Kerr; his daughter Jessica L. Colón (Emmanuel); his grandchildren, Bentley, Barrett, Brailyn, Casey and Waynne; his father Perfecto Colón Rivera, Sr.; and his sisters, Maribel Colón Peraza and Grisel Colón Mendoza (Mario).
Memorials may be made in Perfecto's honor in care of Joseph and Jessica for a tree at the Muscatine Arboretum.
