It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Godfrey (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Beckham and Mary Beckham (James); and her husband George Godfrey. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Martin (Gary) of Cherokee Village, AR; her grandchildren, Brandon Martin (Jennifer), Kara Scalise (Joe) and Stacey Hartley (Jay); and her half-sister Beth Purdy of Warrenton. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be directed to the Unity Point Hospice in Phyllis's name.
