He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Riley and E. Paulyne Riley; his former wife Cynthia Figgins; and his wife Mary Deiling (Cynthia). He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Michelle Riley (Matt) of Iowa City, Melissa Ann Martin (Landon) of West Burlington and Kimberly Renee Eland of Burlington; his grandchildren, Drake Ells, Marly Ells, Courtney Roberts, Connor Roberts, Madisyn Martin, Grant Martin, Derrik Martin and Zoe Eland; his brother Michael Riley (Emily Gualtieri-Riley) of Grand Rapids; and his nephews, Nicholas, Joseph and Benjamin.
