He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Shoemaker and Dorothy D. Middleton Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Marge Fale; his sons, Seth Shoemaker of Muscatine and Chad Shoemaker of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his sisters, Sherry Bogan of Muscatine and Pam Jacobs (Jim) of Muscatine.
