We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2020, at the age of 96, Merlwin F. Lindner (Nashua, Iowa), born in Waverly, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lindner and Erna Lindner; his sisters, Lavon Brickman, Bernice Hartzel and Ela Mae Depenbusch; his daughter Janice Travis; his grandsons, Ryan Lindner and Charles Lindner; and his children-in-law, Stanley Quillin, Harvey Travis, Bob Redick and Diane Lindner.

He is survived by: his wife Violet Waterman; his children, Edwin Lindner of Waverly, Dennis Lindner (Jane) of Waverly, Mike Lindner of Nashua, Randy Lindner of Arlington, VA and Lori Redick of Thornton, IA; and his siblings, Duane Lindner (Jeanne) of Redding, CA and Arlene Hoover (Jerry) of Pueblo West, CO.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to Merlwin's family for a designation of their choice at a later date.
