It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Bodensteiner of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Bodensteiner and Rita Bodensteiner (Lechtenberg). He is survived by: his siblings, Ken Bodnesteiner (Margie) of Marion, IA, Janet Shannon of Rochester, MN, Joan Lentz (Bob) of Cedar Falls, Mary Deering (Tom) of Franklin, TN, Larry Bodensteiner (Ann) of The Villages, FL, Kay Shindelar (Allan) of Protivin, Carole Evensen (Brian) of Golden Valley, MN and Christa Bodensteiner of Surfside, SC; his close friend Angie Fredrick; and his daughter Luca Moody. He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
