It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathie A. Steege (New Hampton, Iowa), who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Opperman and Evelyn Opperman (Bruening); and her sister-in-law Cathy Opperman. She is survived by : her husband Max Steege; her children, Nicole Steege, Jayme Steege and Joseph Steege; and her siblings, Dean Opperman (Gilda), Brad Opperman, Judy Waugh (Darryl), Gloria Frana (Dale) and Dixie Opperman. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
