She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Chesling and Bertha Chesling (Beyer); her husband Ervin Stansbery; her sister Norma Schwerdtfeger; and her sisters-in-law, Edna Maklenburg, Rose Nystel, Sylvia Nystel, Orella Schwickerath and Evelyn Stansbery.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Stansbery (Scarlet) of Mason City, IA, Karen Petering (Frank) of Hallsville, MO and Roger Stansbery of New Hampton, IA; her grandchildren, Terry Petering, Debbie Petering and Nicole Grell; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Marah Meleney; her sister Judy Lewison of Marshalltown, IA; and her brother-in-law Lawrence Stansbery of Waterloo, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
