It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Agnes Gebel (New Hampton, Iowa), who passed away on October 30, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Blong and Elizabeth Blong (Balk); her husband LeRoy; her son Larry Gebel; and her siblings, Arlene Blong, Patricia Ondrashek, Edna Reicks, Louis Blong, Cletus Blong and Cyril Blong.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gebel of Ionia, Jim Gebel (Eileen) of New Hampton, Gerard Gebel (Mary) of Cedar Falls, Pam Gilbert (Gary) of Mason City and Paulette Villhauer (Tony) of Iowa City; and her grandchildren, Angela Gilbert, Kelli Mitchell (Jake), Nathan Gebel (Tammie), Lori Lensing (Larry), Katie Gebel, Stacy Friedrich (Brad), Jody Kline (Aaron) and Jared Gebel.
