He is survived by: his children, Joe, Mary Jo Clarine of New Hampton, IA, Betty Kriener (Denis) of Ankeny, IA, Donald Shileny (Evette) of Westminster, CO and Joseph Shileny (Dawn); his grandchildren, Craig, Joey, John, Alice, Katie, Lisa, Sara, Emma, Nicole and Vanessa; his sister Mary Ann Kuennen of Lawler, IA; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Mrachek (Walt) of Cresco, IA, Rosie Schmitt of Edgar, WI, Darlene Schmitt Kraus of Stratford, WI, Camilla Schmitt of Cresco, IA, Delores Schmitt of Winona, MN, George Schmitt (Darlene) of Cresco, IA, Arlo (Mary) and Joseph Schmitt (Kay) of Sarasota, FL; Norbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
