She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carpenter and Florence Carpenter (Kellogg); and her nephew Scott Sage. She is survived by: her children, Aaron Batchelder (Brooke) of Central City, Loren Batchelder (Toni Potter) of Waterloo and Dawn Hickman of La Crosse, Wisconsin; her close friend Tim Hickman of La Crosse, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Finley Batchelder, Brecken Batchelder, Locklin Batchelder, Lilliana Retzlaff and Lorelai Retzlaff; her former husband Philip Batchelder of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and her siblings, Kay Sage (Douglas) of Lamont, Rita Jones (LaVerne) of Manchester and Ron Carpenter (Deb) of Lamont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
