He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Stephanie Maske (Gary) of Waterloo and Christine Straw of Waterloo; his brothers, Larry Straw (Lois) of New Hampton and Tom Straw (Connie) of New Hampton; his grandson Carter Maske; his siblings' children, Tammy Straw, Tracy Straw, Sybil Soukup, Brian Straw, Mitch Straw, Tony Straw, Hans Soukup and Zach Soukup; and his parents, Orville and Wilma (Ruth).
