She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Shepard and Nellie Shepard (Wilson); her husband Clarence Dietrick; and her daughters, Judy Helmers and Kathy Ackerson.

She is survived by : her sons, Jerry (Darlys) of New Hartford and Johnnie (Barbara) of Lakota, IA; and her son-in-law Dave Ackerson of New Hartford. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
