He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martin and Mildred Louise Pender Martin; his sister Vicki Stinson; and his sister-in-law Linda Martin. He is survived by: his brother Robert Martin of Fort Madison; his brother-in-law Gary Stinson of Fort Madison; and his sibling's children, Tom Stinson (Shanon) of Wever, Shane, Shawn Martin of Fort Madison, Mike Martin of Denver, Stefanie Stinson Westermeyer of Fort Madison and Jessica Stinson of Des Moines.
A memorial has been established for Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
