We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2020, at the age of 59, Kurtis Peterson of Newton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Edward "Ed" Peterson; and his brother Troy Peterson. He is survived by : his mother Dixie Peterson (Westercamp) of Newton; his son Christopher Johnson (Elizabeth) of Runnells; his grandchildren, Cameron, Preston and Julia; his siblings, Corey Peterson of Newton and Kelly Peterson of Texas; his nephew Josh Peterson (Melissa) of Newton; his nieces, Cameron Smith (Riley Versteegh), Anissa Smith and Rylinn Peterson; and also River Smith.
