He was predeceased by: his parents, William Koppin and Clara Koppin (Olson); his wife Pat; his brothers, Ray, Leo and Gene Koppin; and his siblings-in-law, Bill and Marge Schlotfeldt.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Koppin of Lutz, Florida and Barb Roese (Steve) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Jeremy Koppin (Andrea) of Altoona, Nikki Marshall of Knoxville, Brandon Jackson (Samantha) of Newton and Stacy Kuiper (Nick); his great grandchildren, Tyger, Levi, Kobie Marshall, Lydia, Milena Koppin, Khloe, Quinn, Boston Kuiper and Morgan Jackson; and his sisters-in-law, Greta Koppin and Darlene Koppin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
