She was predeceased by : her father Kerrol Shelton; and her brother David Shelton. She is survived by : her husband Dean; her children, Steven Shelton (Jen), Christopher Heitmann, Lacy Heitmann, Ryan Peterson, Stacy Peterson, Jami Blunt and Rick Blunt; her mother Betty Lucas of Harlingen; her stepparents, Harlan Lucas of Harlingen and Barbara Shelton; and her siblings, Karla Bridgewater and Douglas Shelton. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
