He is survived by: his wife Leona Dow; his sons, Gary Hoel of Nora Springs, Randy Hoel (Ann) of Mason City and Ron Hoel (Margaret) of Nora Springs; his grandchildren, Holly Ott (Jason), Brian Hoel (Raine), Erinn Hoel, Ben Hoel (Laura), Mason Hoel (Steph), Tanner Hoel, Ryan Hoel (Katie) and Kelly Runge (Mark); his great grandchildren, Paige, Cayle Ott, Natalee, Carson, Miles, Chase and Madelynn Hoel; his stepsister Beverly DeLacey (Dave); his siblings, Bernita Jones Pettit (Dean), Wayne, Ed and Weldon Jones; and his son-in-law Steve Schlader. He is also survived by one stepsister and four half siblings.
