He was predeceased by : his parents, Gail O. Bailey and Viola Henrietta Bailey (Christiansen); his wife Roberta Bailey; his close friend Pauline Peterson; his sister Carolynn Nicholson (Duane); and his sister-in-law Pauline Olson.
He is survived by : his former life partner Mary Grundel; his sons, Mark Bailey (Leanne) of Nora Springs and Dennis Bailey (Lori) of Rock Falls; his stepson David Engraf (Robin) of Aberdeen, SD; his siblings, John Bailey (Alice) of Michigan and Connie Friedline (John) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Maggie Lawson (John), Andrew Bailey (Staci), Ben Bailey and Steven Bailey; his stepgranddaughter Amber Engraf; and his great grandchildren, Broodie, Gabriella, Charlie Lawson, Gianna Wallace and Wallace Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
