He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin "Bub" Fisher and Dorothy Fisher (Vogel). He is survived by: his wife Sue Strong of Keswick; his sons, Matt Fisher (Dara) of Keswick and Mark Fisher (Renee) of Wellman; his grandchildren, Hannah Miover, Emma Roush, Bridget Fisher, Tessa Fisher, Brock Fisher, Drew Fisher and Brendan Fisher; and his pets, Jack and Molly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (105 N Jefferson St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Keokuk County Hospice Foundation.
